About Kwinana Beach
Kwinana Beach is an outer southwestern suburb of Perth within the City of Kwinana, and one of the traditional industrial suburbs in the Perth metropolitan region. In the 1950s the area became a major industrial hub with the establishment of the BP Kwinana Oil Refinery, followed by Alcoa, CSBP, CBH and Coogee Chemicals, with enormous jetties extending into the deep-water harbour of Cockburn Sound.
