About Hilton (WA)
Hilton is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Fremantle approximately 5 minutes drive from the Fremantle CBD and the Indian Ocean. Developed after World War II under a state government "garden suburbs" initiative, it features wide verges and single homes on large blocks. The suburb has an eclectic mixture of weatherboard, fibro and brick dwellings and is undergoing extensive urban renewal with new homes being built. Its northern precinct contains a village centre with shops and laneways centred around South Street.
