About Karrakatta

Karrakatta is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located around 7 kilometres west of the central business district. The suburb is best known for Karrakatta Cemetery, the largest public cemetery in Western Australia, which opened in 1899. The suburb is divided by the Fremantle railway line, with Irwin Army Barracks to the north.
