About Preston Beach

Preston Beach is a small town in the Peel region of Western Australia, located between Mandurah and Bunbury within Yalgorup National Park. Developed as a private estate in 1959, the area is bounded by the Indian Ocean, Lake Preston, and the national park. Yalgorup National Park protects coastal lakes, swamps, and tuart woodland, and is noted for thrombolites at Lake Clifton and migratory waterbird habitat.
