About Henty (WA)
Henty is a rural locality in the Ferguson Valley within the Shire of Dardanup, about 20 kilometres south-east of Bunbury. The area features rolling hills, jarrah and marri forests, and agricultural land adjacent to Wellington National Park. Named after James Henty who received a large land grant in the district in 1830, it forms part of a scenic valley known for wineries, grazing and tourism.
