About Chapman Hill
Chapman Hill is a locality in the South West region of Western Australia, in the City of Busselton, taking its name from the hill in the Whicher Range near the source of the Vasse River, named after the Chapman brothers, early settlers. Much of the area was settled in the 1920s by Group 40 of the Group Settlement Scheme, commemorated by a memorial on Chapman Hill Road, and the district also held a signal station during World War II. Cattle farming is the main industry.
