About Weerite
Weerite is a rural locality in the Colac Otway Shire, roughly 25 kilometres south of Colac, on the volcanic plains and undulating hills of western Victoria. Farming and grazing dominate the landscape, and the locality once had a station on the Geelong-Warrnambool railway line before passenger services ceased in 1962.
