About Nalangil
Nalangil is a rural locality on the eastern shore of Lake Corangamite, Victoria's largest permanent saltwater lake, about 12 kilometres north-west of Colac. The surrounding landscape is dominated by open farmland and the lake's saline waters, with the name thought to derive from an Aboriginal word. It lies within the Shire of Colac Otway in Victoria's western district.
