About Dreeite South

Dreeite South is a rural locality in the Colac Otway Shire in southwestern Victoria, about 15 kilometres from Colac and 139 kilometres from Melbourne. The area was originally part of the Irrewarra pastoral run taken up in 1842 and later subdivided for soldier settlement farms after World War I. The landscape is characterised by dairy and beef cattle grazing among rolling green hills near Lake Corangamite.
