About Yeungroon
Yeungroon is a rural locality in north central Victoria, in the Shire of Buloke on the Avoca River about 14 km south of Charlton. The name is one of several in the district that carry on the area's Aboriginal heritage. Grain growing and livestock are the main land uses, and a large beef feedlot opened here in 1987 became the district's biggest employer.
