About Nine Mile (Vic.)
Nine Mile is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Shire of Loddon in northern Victoria, about 12 km west of Wedderburn. The locality grew from the gold rush and is the site of the Nine Mile Company Gold Mine, a quartz mine worked between 1899 and 1912 that is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register.
