About Wonwondah
Wonwondah is a sparsely settled farming locality in the Wimmera region, about 20 kilometres south of Horsham. The district is mainly flat, crossed by the Mackenzie River and creeks from the foothills of the western Grampians, and is given over to dryland cropping and sheep grazing typical of the Wimmera wheatbelt. Named after the Wonwondah pastoral run gazetted in 1843.
