About Ultima

Ultima is a small town in the Rural City of Swan Hill, Victoria, Australia, located 353 kilometres (219 mi) north-west of the state capital, Melbourne, and 35 kilometres (22 mi) south-west of Swan Hill. Named after a pastoral run of the 1850s, it grew after the railway from Quambatook opened in 1900 and became an important wheat-receiving point, with silos reaching a million bushels of capacity by the early 1950s.
