About Marnoo West
Marnoo West is a farming locality in the Wimmera region of western Victoria, in the Shire of Northern Grampians west of the town of Marnoo. The district is wheat country on heavy black soil, settled from the 1840s when the Marnoo pastoral run was taken up along the Richardson River. Marnoo West State School, which served the locality, has since closed.
