About Kanagulk
Kanagulk is a locality in western Victoria, in the Rural City of Horsham about 384 kilometres west-north-west of Melbourne. Lake Kanagulk is a designated wildlife reserve managed by Parks Victoria, and a Bureau of Meteorology weather station operates in the locality. Kanagulk was used to store by-products from a mineral processing plant, but community concern over radon gas and water contamination led Horsham Council to reject the application in 2016.
