About Birchip
Birchip is a town on the Sunraysia Highway in the Mallee region of Victoria, north of Donald and in the Shire of Buloke. The town is home to the Birchip Cropping Group, a farmer-driven agricultural research organisation, and to the Big Mallee Bull, a sculpture that has welcomed visitors on the main street since 1991. It has a P-12 school and an Australian rules football club, Birchip-Watchem, which competes in the North Central Football League.
