About Kings Park (Vic.)
Kings Park is a suburb of Melbourne about 19 km north-west of the central business district, in the City of Brimbank. It began as a housing estate in the 1970s on land belonging to the King family, who also gave their name to Kings Road on the suburb's eastern edge, and grew in stages around the Kings Park Reserve. Kororoit Creek and the shire boundary mark part of its western edge.
