About Narre Warren
Narre Warren is an established outer-southern suburb of Melbourne, 38 kilometres from the CBD, and the council seat of the City of Casey. It grew from the 1877 Gippsland railway line and later expanded around the Fountain Gate estate developed from 1956 by Isador Magid in collaboration with Robin Boyd. The suburb is home to Westfield Fountain Gate, one of Australia's largest shopping centres by area.
