Chintin is a rural locality in the City of Whittlesea in Melbourne's northern growth corridor, situated approximately 30 kilometres north of the Melbourne central business district. The area is characterised by rural residential properties, hobby farms and remnant grassland on the volcanic plains north of Melbourne.
