About Wrixon
Wrixon is a sparsely populated rural locality in the Gippsland region of Victoria, in the Wellington Shire about 167 km east of Melbourne. The Turton River, a perennial river of the West Gippsland catchment, flows through the locality to join the Avon River northwest of Briagolong, and part of the surrounding forested country lies within the Avon Wilderness Park.
