About Wingan River
Wingan River is a locality in the Shire of East Gippsland, Victoria, on the river of the same name, roughly midway between Cann River and Genoa. The area is heavily forested and lies almost entirely within state forests and national parks, including Croajingolong National Park, Alfred National Park and the Drummer State Forest. The Wingan River flows south through the parks to Wingan Inlet on Bass Strait.
