About Tubbut
Tubbut is a small rural locality in far East Gippsland, Victoria, near the New South Wales border and the Deddick River. Settled as a pastoral run bought by the Whittaker family in 1849, it gained a school on the Bonang-Gelantipy Road that opened in April 1941 and closed at the end of 2010 as the district's farming population dwindled.
