About Toora (Vic.)
Toora is a town in South Gippsland, Victoria, at the top of Corner Inlet, opposite Wilsons Promontory National Park. Settled as Muddy Creek around a sawmill in the 1850s and renamed Toora in 1889, it is now a dairying centre and home to the Toora Wind Farm, one of the first built in Victoria. The town is a base for visits to nearby Agnes Falls, among the tallest waterfalls in the state.
