About Tonghi Creek
Tonghi Creek is a small rural locality in East Gippsland, Victoria, between Orbost and Cann River. Grazing land in the area was first licensed in the 1890s, a bridge was built over Tonghi Creek in 1903, and a small school operated from 1913 until 1950. It is now a sparsely settled district of farms and bushland.
