About Stradbroke
Stradbroke is a sparsely settled rural locality in the Wellington Shire of Victoria's Gippsland region, east of Sale. The locality includes the wetland of Ben Winch Swamp and is drained by Merriman Creek and Monkey Creek, which flow toward the Gippsland Lakes system. Stradbroke sits near the Ninety Mile Beach and is surrounded by open farmland and bushland typical of the Gippsland coastal plains.
