About Stony Creek (South Gippsland - Vic.)
Stony Creek is a small town in the Shire of South Gippsland, Victoria, located on the South Gippsland Highway roughly midway between Meeniyan and Foster. The settlement grew from the arrival of the railway in the late nineteenth century and is home to a horse racing club and an Australian Rules football team.
