About Omeo Valley
Omeo Valley is a rural locality in the Shire of East Gippsland in the Victorian Alps, on the Livingstone Creek north of Omeo. The valley was visited by stockmen from 1835 and became part of the Omeo goldfield after gold was found in Livingstone Creek in 1845; it remains high-country grazing land.
