About Gentle Annie
Gentle Annie is an uninhabited rural locality in Baw Baw Shire in the forested foothills of the Great Dividing Range in Victoria, in the tall mountain-forest country around the Tarago River. The locality gives its name to the Gentle Annie Track, a steep four-wheel-drive route through the area, and the name is an Australian term for a long steep uphill track without a resting place.
