About Drouin South

Drouin South is a rural village on Westernport Road, about five kilometres south of Drouin in the Baw Baw Shire. Settlement began in the mid-1870s near King Parrot Creek, and the district was historically known as King Parrot country. Open paddocks, dairy farms and rolling green hills are typical of the West Gippsland agricultural landscape.
