About Winton North
Winton North is a rural locality in north-eastern Victoria, in the Benalla district between Benalla and Glenrowan, north of the village of Winton on the Hume Highway. It is flat farming country of pasture and crops, and was once served by Winton North State School, whose honour roll recorded district servicemen from the Boer War and both world wars.
