About Whitfield (Vic.)
Whitfield is a viticultural township in the King Valley of north-eastern Victoria, located about 240 kilometres north-east of Melbourne in the Rural City of Wangaratta. Known as the heart of the King Valley wine region, it is celebrated for cool-climate Italian varietals including Prosecco and Sangiovese, with numerous cellar doors nearby.
