About Tallangatta Valley
Tallangatta Valley is a sparsely settled rural locality in the Shire of Towong in north-east Victoria, about 340 kilometres north-east of Melbourne. Set in the upper reaches of the Tallangatta Creek catchment in the Victorian Alps foothills, the area supports livestock grazing and pasture farming in a high-rainfall zone with mountain and valley views.
