About Tabilk
Tabilk is a rural locality in the Shire of Strathbogie in central Victoria, between the towns of Seymour and Nagambie along the Goulburn River. The Goulburn Valley Highway and the Shepparton railway line pass through the locality. Tabilk is best known for the Tahbilk winery, established in 1860 and one of the oldest wineries in Victoria, with heritage-listed cellars and a five-storey timber tower overlooking the river. At the 2016 census, 131 people lived in the area.
