About Koriella
Koriella is a remote rural locality in the Upper Yarra Valley, situated roughly 90 kilometres east of Melbourne within the Murrindindi Shire. The area is characterised by tall mountain ash forests, fern gullies and forested hills in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, near the upper reaches of the Yarra River catchment. Healesville, approximately 30 kilometres to the south-west, provides access to the Yarra Valley wine region and the renowned Healesville Sanctuary wildlife park.
