About Kerrisdale
Kerrisdale is a small rural locality in the Murrindindi Shire of north-eastern Victoria, situated approximately 79 kilometres north of Melbourne between Seymour and Yea along the Goulburn Valley Highway corridor. The rolling farmland and bushland is home to the Kerrisdale Mountain Railway and Museum, a heritage attraction featuring the original station building and a collection of working narrow-gauge steam and diesel locomotives. The nearby towns of Yea and Alexandra provide the main services for locals, and the surrounding area is within reach of the Yarra Valley wine country and the broader High Country region.
