About Clifton Springs
Clifton Springs is a coastal town on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria, about 52 kilometres south-west of Melbourne and 17 kilometres east of Geelong, facing north across Corio Bay. It grew around a mineral springs and spa resort that operated from the 1870s until about 1920, the only nineteenth-century seaside mineral springs resort in Victoria, and is today a residential coastal town of the Greater Geelong area.
