About Lerderderg
Lerderderg is a locality in the Shire of Moorabool, covering the Lerderderg River valley between Bacchus Marsh and Blackwood and largely coterminous with Lerderderg State Park. The river has carved a rugged gorge some 300 metres deep through sandstone and slate, and the Lerderderg Track, part of the Great Dividing Trail, runs through the valley on the traditional Country of the Wurundjeri people.
