About Invermay Park
Invermay Park is a suburb on the northern rural fringe of Ballarat, immediately south of the Western Freeway in the City of Ballarat municipality. The area was chosen as the site of Ballarat's second cemetery in 1867, now the Ballarat General Cemetery, and for the North Ballarat, now Midland, Golf Club in 1919. It was gazetted as a place name in 1998.
