About West Pine
West Pine is a small rural community in the Central Coast local government area of north-west Tasmania, about 19 kilometres south-east of Burnie and 8 kilometres south-west of Penguin. The district, originally known as "Pine Road West", is crossed by West Pine Road and Pine Road, which run south from the Bass Highway. It was once served by its own Anglican and Presbyterian churches, and today is a quiet farming district.
