About Marrawah
Marrawah is a small town on the far west coast of Tasmania, in the Circular Head Council area, and is mainland Tasmania's westernmost settlement. It lies at the end of the sealed A2 road and was once the terminus of Tasmania's westernmost railway, the Smithton–Marrawah tramway. Dairy farming and tourism are the main activities, and nearby Aboriginal sites include ancient rock carvings at Mount Cameron West and Sundown Point. Green Point Beach is known for surfing and windsurfing.
