About Acacia Hills (Tas.)
Acacia Hills is a small rural locality in the Kentish district of north-west Tasmania, about 16 km south of Devonport. The Don River forms its western boundary and the Bonneys Tier Forest Reserve lies in the south-east. Its name is likely descriptive of the native acacia, or wattle, vegetation that characterises the district, which consists mostly of rolling agricultural land.
