About Freycinet

Freycinet is a locality in the Glamorgan Spring Bay council area on the east coast of Tasmania, covering much of the rugged Freycinet Peninsula. The peninsula, renowned for the pink granite peaks of The Hazards and the white sand of Wineglass Bay, lies almost entirely within Freycinet National Park, Tasmania's first national park, declared in 1916.
