About Adventure Bay
Adventure Bay is a locality and township on the eastern side of Bruny Island in Tasmania, located about 75 kilometres south of Hobart. Named after Captain Furneaux's ship in 1773, the area has historic significance as a stopping place for early explorers and was later used for whaling and timber milling.
