About St Leonards (Tas.)
St Leonards is a semi-rural residential locality in the Launceston region of Tasmania, an eastern suburb of Launceston with a mix of residential, semi-rural and rural homes. It was gazetted as a locality in 1963 and has since grown into a suburban area with its own schools and shops, about ten minutes' drive from the city centre. The 2016 census recorded a population of 2009.
