About Campbell Town
Campbell Town is a historic town in the Northern Midlands Council area of Tasmania, located on the Midland Highway between Hobart and Launceston. Established in 1821 by Governor Macquarie, it is one of four original garrison towns. It features the convict-built Red Bridge (1836), the oldest brick arch bridge in Australia.
