About Pellaring Flat

Pellaring Flat is a small riverside locality in the Mid Murray Council area of South Australia, about 72 km east of Adelaide on the west bank of the Murray River. It fronts Pellaring Reach, a stretch of the river noted for rough water that forced explorer Charles Sturt to camp there for three days during his 1830 voyage, and includes the landing known as Greening Landing.
