About Meningie
Meningie is a town on Lake Albert in the Coorong District Council area of South Australia, located 108 kilometres south-east of Adelaide on the Princes Highway. Surveyed in 1866, it serves as the northern gateway to The Coorong, a popular tourism and fishing destination. It is home to Point Malcolm Lighthouse, the only inland lighthouse in Australia.
