About Koppamurra

Koppamurra is a locality in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia, within the Naracoorte Lucindale Council, bordering the state's eastern boundary with Victoria. The area is productive farmland, used for cropping, dairying and viticulture. It is also the site of the proposed Koppamurra rare-earth mining project, which would mine a clay-hosted deposit of elements such as neodymium and praseodymium used in green technology, one of the first projects of its kind in Australia.
