About Dutton East
Dutton East is a rural locality in the Mid Murray Council area of South Australia, east of the historic township of Dutton, which was laid out in 1866 and named after Francis Dutton, the pastoralist of nearby Anlaby station. The district, settled from the 1850s by English pastoralists and German farming families, is now quiet cereal-growing country between Truro and Eudunda.
