About Palkagee
Palkagee is a small rural locality in the Pastoral Unincorporated Area of far western New South Wales, situated in the remote outback of the state. The area is characterised by pastoral leases, sheep and cattle grazing and remnant mulga and eucalypt woodland on the flat to gently undulating red sandy soils. Palkagee lies within the broader Western Division of New South Wales, one of Australia's most sparsely populated regions, with the surrounding landscape featuring arid bushland, seasonal waterways and the red plains of the outback.
